DANNY BROOKS BOOK LAUNCH - This picture was taken at the book signing party of Danny Brooks. Danny’s book is simply called 'Miracles for Breakfast' and if you ever get a chance to read the book you will understand the title. My daughter Ashley accompanied me and had her picture taken with her dad and Danny. This is huge for myself and Loretta, because Ashley finds church very boring and doesn’t get anything out of it, who can blame her. Ashley said she real enjoyed seeing Danny and said it was inspiration to her, Ashley seen a lot in her short life, so she won’t be entertained with more church programs and stuff. Ash knows if your real or a phony. As for Danny Brooks he is what he sings about!

Our strength or His Strength:
While recovering from Hip surgery I had a visit from the man who led me to the Lord some 20 years ago. Jorge lives out in British Columbia and was traveling to Toronto to see family and friends in May 2010 at the same time I was in recovering. We got to share our heart with one another about what the Lord had been doing in each others lives and we had a few meals thank to Loretta. Jorge met Loretta and we prayed for one another’s family but mostly about how good God has been to us over the years and the many curve balls life thrown our way, some good ones and even difficult trials that we had to overcome. Faith building experiences to see who, what or where we would put our trust. Still learning-The teacher and the student, together, reflecting on God’s Greatness.
